Next to the photo series "Collectors" the Kunsthalle also shows a new project developed in situ. By using an aura camera, which reveals the aura of objects that are important to the owners, Veli Granö searches for the hidden information that has been stored in the objects for years. The results are extremely fascinating.

"I am fascinated by the experience of sacrality connected with everyday life. It seems that various alternative forms of folk beliefs are resurfacing as the long-reigning Christian religion is loosing its hold on society. Collecting, like art, is connected to ancient rituals, and it even seems to contain echoes of a death cult. The objects tend to usurp all the space around them, finally taking over the collector - the objects cast their shadows everywhere."...
